St. Maarten Art Gallery?

Hoping some of you St. Maarten experts can help...

 

Last year we found a neat art gallery just after getting off the ship. I don't remember what it was called but it was just as you got off the ship in the new little shopping area. The French artist there did wood carving from hibiscus trees and they were magnificent.

 

My question: does anyone know the name of the gallery, whether it's still in business, and the name of the artist? Thx!
