Anytime dining? Anytime soon?

We've never done anytime dining so this is probably a stupid question but do you get a different table/waiter each time? Also, are you more likely to get a table for two if you do anytime?

Can you choose once you're on board? We requested early dining and we are going to request a table for two when we get on board. Can we choose standard or anytime at that time?

 

With anytime dining, you can ask for the same waiter each night if you find one you like. You may be a little more likely to get a table for 2 with anytime dining.....not sure about that. What I mean by that is I believe you could probably always get a table for 2 with anytime dining. With traditional dining, it would depend on how many others had requested that before you as to whether you would be able to get one or not.

 

You should request anytime dining with whoever you booked your cruise with ~ before your cruise. Once you get onboard the ship, you can always go to the Maitre D' and ask to be changed, but if you do it beforehand you wouldn't have to go stand in line waiting to talk to him. It would already be done.

 

Once you make your choice of traditional or anytime dining, you have to stick with that plan. No switching back and forth once onboard the ship.

We have already put in our request with our PVP for early seating and a table for two but we realize that IS only a request and were planning to vist the Maitre D' once on board. But my question is can we choose anytime dining when we speak to the Maitre D' or do we have to do it in advance? There's time, we don't sail until November!
