We recently returned from the Holiday French Quarter. It was nice, clean and relatively inexpensive considering some of the hotels. If it's not your taste, look at the Hotel Montleone, which is across the street from the Holiday Inn French Quarter, and much nicer. Both hotels are in a great location and convenient to everything in the French Quarter and the Riverfront.
