thall17 Posted April 6, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2009 Hello, We are going ona a Western Caribbean cruise April 26th and have a few questions: What is the best or cheapest way to get from FLL to the Port of Miami? What is the usual table minimums in the Casino? Is there still a midnight buffet? Is the food as bad as what I have been reading? Are many of the ships ammenities available during Ports? I heard some people like to stay on board during Ports as it's less crowded at the pool and such??? Speaking of crowds, how are they? Any must do's? or DO NOT's? I appreciate the help!!!!! barbarah33 Posted April 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2009 Getting from FLL to Miami depends on how many of you there are. I will happily do my best to answer your other questions if you'll please let me know what cruiseline/ship you are on - things like food, buffets, etc. vary so knowing what line you are sailing is important. Readytogo85 Posted April 11, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 11, 2009 If you go to Progresso and visit Chichen Itza, bring and drink LOTS of water! We were there about 3 years ago during the same week you'll be going and it was the hottest time of the year. I thought I was drinking plenty of water while at the ruins, but I got heat exhaustion and felt terrible for the next 24 hours.
