any gamblers have info on players club emails?

I sent them a form telling them I am sailing next week and they sent a reply that I am added to the "guest list". Does anyone know what this means? any freebies? or am I just on a list,

 

we gamble, but not that big. although my dh has won over $1K on blackjack the last couple of cruises. Maybe the only give the freebies to the losers :eek:

Last time out after notifying CPC of my sailing, received chocolate covered strawberries and an invitation to meet the casino manager for a complimentary drink. Nice touches, but not too useful to me--gave the strawberries to my neighbor with children on-board (was a real hit with them!) and missed the meeting with the manager because the 1-hour window was right after the sail away. (got several freebies later though, because I spent way too much time in the casino trying to successfully return the proceeds of a good first night!)

It doesn't matter if you are what they call "high rollers." Your bets mean just as much to you as do mine do to me. To get a perk the formula is amount of bet times number of hours you play. How a cruise line chooses who and when to give perks to is anyone's guess.

 

If you are having good fortune in the casino try to double your bet. Instead of say betting $10 bet $20. Then if you start losing you can go back down to your original bet. When I play, I play at the craps table, I make certain bets then if they start hitting I bet more. Then when I lose I start all over again at the same minimum I started with the first time. Then if I start hitting I can raise my bets again.
