Where is the Caribbean Princess from 1/02/05-1/08/05 ?

I have noticed that there is nothing on the schedule for the 6 day period Sun 1/2/05 - Saturday1/8/05. for the Caribbean Princess. The reason I am asking is we are on the 1/8 Sailing. Is there an unadvertized 6 nite cruise on 1/2, is the CB chartered or is it in drydock?

We board on the 8th, hopefully that week in dock will mean the boat will be nice and fresh for us. :) We live in Miami, maybe we'll drive by and take a look at her.

Why is it staying in Ft. Lauderdale? Is it for a spruce up, are T/A's taking tours or has someone rented her out for the 6 days without sailing. I too hope the ship will be fresh and that we will be able to get on early since it appears the ship will not be leaving the pier for 6 days.

Don't know but my guess is that it is to get the ship back on it's regular schedule. The cruise before that is a 8 day instead of a 7 day. (Opps my bad wrong week)

Our cruise is 12/26 to 1/02... same amount of days as all of the others.

The 12/18 Holiday Cruise is an 8 day Cruise. I assume it's because they did not want to disembark on Christmas Day. The 12/26 leaves on a Sunday and Returns on a Sunday. Normally the CB sails on Saturday.
