flightseeing vs. Homer flight to Hallo Bay

We definitely plan to take the 1/2 day tour including a flight from Homer to Hallo Bay to bear watch. the fight is 1 hour each way.

 

Given that we will already see some of Alaska from the air, does it make sense to also schedule a flightseeing to the summit of Mt.McKinley?

 

I have read a preference for helicopter with glacier landing over the other airplane flights and summit flights over glacier landing. Why?

 

What makes the summit flights better? And again, should we still consider doing a flightseeing given our Home plans?
