Best Way to get to Busch Gardens from a Downtown Hotel?

If we choose to go to Busch Gardens for the day, should we take a taxi or is there bus service or do hotels have buses that go to Busch Gardens? We are not sure if we want to do Busch Gardens yet or just stay around the downtown area.

You can work your way there via the city bus lines, but I doubt I'd do it - especially on vacation. You'd surely lose a good bit of "fun time" and the $ savings, imho, would not be worth it. I'd probably just take a taxi.

 

Some of the hotels in the area do have shuttle service. Most have some limit as to how far they will go, but I'd imagine they would cater for at least the trip to the park & you take a cab back.
