Southern Caribbean advice?

Trying to plan my next cruise for a Southern Caribbean. Would like some opinions on Cruise lines and ports. I see some Southern Caribbean cruises listed as "Exotic". any help would be appreciated. Also, I have only cruised Carnival but I am ready and willing to try another line:D

We are sailing on X next March.. very port intensive but looks like it should be fun. I have sailed Carnival and X is not like them at all... formal nights, traditional dining, and I think a better staff. Also none of the overhead paging all day long. (I really don't need to hear about bingo and hairy men contests.)
