shower chair sun princess

Do all the disabled cabins have a shower chair in their shower on the Sun Princess?

I assume they will have grab rails for the toilet as standard.

I just call Princess and asked to have one put in my non HC room. They said no problem, it will be there. Joan

We have not been on the Sun, but we have been on the Regal and Dawn, and both had fold-down padded seats bolted into the wall of the shower area. They seemed quite sturdy, but as we are large women, we brought our own with us anyhow.

As the others said, if they don't have the drop down seats -- which really are quite substantial, with lots of grab bars all around, just ask your room steward for a chair, and one will be provided for you. We were on the Sun some years ago and the chair was quite nice, and the shower area very large and comfortable.

When we were on the Sun Princess there was a pull down shower chair with rails on two sides. This was a roll in shower (but you could easily walk in as the shower is large). The toilet also had hand rails on the back and side of the toilet. I am speaking of the HC cabin. not a regular cabin. All the public hc bathrooms also had hand rails.

She should feel very safe.
