tammi0916 Posted April 26, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2009 We will be in port for 5 hours (on a Sunday from 9 -2) on July 5th and wanted to visit Nassau but not take an excursion as given the time I don't want to spend the $$. I was wondering if I can just take a taxi to the Atlantis and walk around. Is the aquirum really free? If not, can you just purchase tix to it - we will be with our 10 yr old DD and I know she would love to see it. Thanks so much for the information! Yes, you can take a cab (or water taxi) to Atlantis (taxi is $4pp/ water taxi is $3). You can walk around the common areas of Atlantis - the lobbies, shopping arcade and casino, but the rest you'll need one of the specific passes. There's a small viewing area for the aquarium ..but if you want to see the DIG's and full aquarium.. you'll need to purchase a DIG'S pass . $35 for adults. $26 for kids. You won't be allowed to wander the grounds without a pass.. security check throughout the property.
