somewhere on this board i read that there was some news in may. some had thought it was freestyle dining others said it was a new computer system in the dining room which would allow for quicker table requests. does anybody know what is going on? i also read somehere along time ago that maybe they were going to put a ben & jerry's on board. like i said i can't remember where i read it . it was a long time ago. i know it might not be true. i was hoping that someone may have heard something.

Those of us on the first 'official' sailing on May 16th will certainly report back!! (There is a 2 day TA cruise before ours).

Anything specific anyone would like to know? I'll try to remember to pay attention to certain things if anyone wants me to.

Pools, Pools, and Pools....

how are they going to make the pools "swimmable?" with no heating... Canada's water will be 62 degrees at its best, which means the pools will be too?!

Hopefully they are doing something...

I didn't realize the pools were not heated...but I guess if the ship is in the south all the time, why would they be. Maybe they'll add a heater during drydock!

I doubt that they are doing anything to heat the pools. I know that Carnival alternates the Victory and Triumph back and forth each year to New York for their Canadian cruises and neither one has heated pools.

I am interested to hear what changes RCI is making with the dining room. I have read so many different things on this board. It will be interesting to see which ones are true.
