Please tell me where to look to find the new port dates and times for the now 7 day instead of a 5 day Fantasy on May 30....I have looked on Carnival, my reservation page and also on my booking. On carnival they do not even have New Orleans as a departure port (or else I'm blind or old) Where can I look to find this in order to try to plan excursions.

It's on the website.

Look on middle, .........says "Travel Advisory".

You can select ........."Itinerary Changes"

That shows all the changes on all cruises with changes to ports. You will need to scroll down to see New Orleans Fantasy

Our Itinerary Change for May 30 out of Galveston does not yet list specifics. All I know is 7 days now and going to MoBay and Grand Caymen but don't know which days yet. DH called Carnival and was told reservation system isn't yet updated - but he didn't ask for the actual itinerary while he had them on the phone...

I don't think it tells the exact day by day itinerary.

Here is what someone sent me for our May 23 voyage!

Sat May 23 New Orleans, LA 4:00pm

Sun May 24 At Sea

Mon May 25 Key West, FL 7:00am 4:00pm

Tue May 26 Nassau, Bahamas Noon

Wed May 27 Nassau, Bahamas 5:00pm

Thu May 28 At Sea

Fri May 29 At Sea

Sat May 30 New Orleans, LA 8:00am

I presume your cruise will stay the same...

Thanks to all.....I had seen the 5/23 but we have been told that we will do Freeport & Nassau. The 23rd seems to overnite in Nassau...That would be ok but need some confirmation....I know...Patience

Hi~first time cruiser here. My hubby and I (leaving our boys at home) are going on the 7 day cruise to Key West and Nassau (for overnight stay) from New Orleans. I called Carnival to find out the exact dates we would be in port/out to sea (Key West/Nassau) and the girl who helped me said she did not know and would not find out until we boarded the ship. She also said that we cannot purchase excursions until we get on the ship due to the itinerary changes.

With that said, I have few questions:

1>Does anyone have an idea of how long the ship will be in port in Key

West? Is it an overnight trip from New Orleans, arriving in the morning?

2>Does it take a full day/night to get to Nassau from Key West?

3>Can we come and go on the ship as we wish during the overnight stay

in Nassau?

4>Is it better to book your own excursion or go through the ship (may not

be an option for us this trip)?

5>Atlantis in Nassau~worth the visit? Is there good snorkeling there? I'm

trying to decide whether to pay the $150 to use the water park/facility

or pay the $29 at Atlantis and just walk around?

6> If we are offered the same excursions as other Nassau cruises, do you

think going to Sandals resort would be better or Atlantis. Both are

pricey and sound fun. Since it's our 20th anniversary and no kids,

Sandals sounds inticing.

Wow, I have so many questions and have spent hours researching! Thanks for any input you may have!

.... until we got underway, I would expect to be paying for some internet minutes to then book my tours or find stuff to do when we were supposed to be there. I have not booked a Carnival Cruise yet but it takes a while to find what I want on the web.
