Those "checked" threads on the RSSC board

Just wondering how a thread gets that "check" as a "rating" I have always been an active member of this board, but I just can

't figure it out.

The checks are dependent on the user. If you hover your cursor over the check mark the message "you are subscribed to this thread" will appear. They mark the threads where you have posted. Once I've posted, this thread will have a check mark for my log-in. I have check marks for the thread about age and some Diamond threads but not the Pepsi thread. I expect you see checks for the Pepsi and Teens on Navigator threads.

jhp - you mean the check marks that are in front of certain thread names? If you hover over the check mark (it looks like an upside down caret to me), it'll say "Go to first new post" - if you click it, it'll take you to the first post in that thread that you haven't read yet. Makes it easy to keep up with ongoing threads.

 

Of course, if you're seeing other check marks that I don't know about, then just ignore what I just posted above. :)
