What time should we ask the car service to meet us at Red Hook?

Hello,

 

We're on a one-way TA on 13 June & need to book a car service to take us to E 12th St to pick up our rental vehicle.

 

Given that we need to go through immigration & collect our luggage etc, what is a reasonable time to ask the car service to meet us?

 

I imagine we should go for a fairly conservative time so that the car service doesn't have to wait on us ... but any pointers would be much appreciated.

almost everyone is off by 10:00. Since you are only going to Manhattan, call as you are getting off and use a local car service. I use Arecibo 7187836465. You call they come. There are pay phones just past immigration.

They are reliable and reasonably priced.

Quite a few people on here have recommended Arecibo - so, if lots of people are now going to call them, do you think they'll have enough cars?

yes...the added recently more cars....the QM 2 isn't that big anyway...

Dear SMEYER & YOJIMBO,

 

Thanks so much for your advice! We are relocating back to the US and will be travelling with our 2 dogs and so need to arrange a pet taxi to pick us up at the terminal. We'll shoot for 10am then ...
