FloraB Posted May 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2004 We are considering these rooms for the Panama Canal cruise in Dec 04 Can anyone give us any input? What is directly in front of the rooms? The Bridge seems to be up one floor. Is there much traffic going through to the Bridge by the Staff? Please LMK your thoghts about a stern location like this. FrankiRN Posted May 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2004 We just got off the Brilliance and were in room 9000. We loved the room. You have an unobstructed view on the balcony. If you look up to the right, you can see the part of the bridge that hangs over. The captain actually opened up the window and spoke to us on our balcony while we were getting ready to pull out of Antigua, it was really nice. Didn't notice much traffic, just when they are pulling in or out on that side. Our cabin steward was Troy and he was so outstanding that I can't even begin to tell you. Brandis Posted May 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Directly forward of cabin 9500 is the captain's suite... The entire forward part of deck 9 directly beneath the bridge houses the cabins of the higher ranks... http://www.brandis.org/fotogalerie/brilliance03/V0000135 Marc Benz Switzerland Next cruises: Yangtze River cruise: June 2004 Transatlantic Prinsendam, Lisbon-Ft.
