CurlyRed964 Posted June 10, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2009 I am interested in doing the EcoCat snorkel tour with my daughter. It seems for the price you get quite a bit. My 7 year old and I have have done quite a bit of snorkeling in Hawaii and the Caribbean. Is the snerkeling in Cabo good? I thought we might spend an hour or so at the beach first and then meet this tour at $12:30. Any thoughts?
househunter Posted June 10, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2009 We did it in December and loved it! The cat is huge, the crew was great, they have a hotdog and hamburger BBQ after snorkling and a full bar. I would book it, you will really have a great time. We also love the Pez Gato but the Eco Cat is a much better boat with actual restrooms where you open the door and walk in rather than open a hatch and crawl down into. Much fun!:)
CurlyRed964 Posted June 11, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted June 11, 2009 Thanks for the input. When I saw the website and read about the tour, it seemed really nice. It's nice to hear from someone in the know!
The Grateful Dad Posted June 16, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2009 Hi Curly, Could you please let me/us know if you are able to book Ecocat, I haven't been able to get replies on e-mail from them.
The Grateful Dad Posted June 16, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2009 I was able to contact Eco-cat by phone. They didn't realize there was an issue with their e-mail, but I was successful in booking a snorkel trip in July :D
Let's Get Goin Posted June 22, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 22, 2009 How much was the snorkel tour and for how long. Are there any age restrictions?
househunter Posted June 22, 2009 #7 Share Posted June 22, 2009 It is about 4 hours long and I don't think they have age restrictions. It was great!:)
Caro C Posted June 22, 2009 #8 Share Posted June 22, 2009 Just keep in mind you might want to ask ahead of time if they have smaller gear for your child. Not everyone has snorkel gear in kid sizes including mask and fins AND snorkel vests. Good thing to ask when you book.
