Miss Dot Posted June 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2009 Does CCL provide hair dryers in the staterooms?
CruiseLover824 Posted June 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2009 It depends on the ship......This is from a post on the Carnival boards: Do I need to pack my Hair Dryer? A hair dryer is provided in the bathroom (Destiny, Triumph, Victory) or at the desk/vanity in the stateroom (Spirit, Pride, Legend, Conquest, Glory, Miracle, Valor, Liberty, Freedom, Splendor and Dream). Hair dryers are not provided in the staterooms of all other ships.
Trish12345 Posted June 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 29, 2009 The Valor, Legend & Glory had hairdryers. I'm sure others ships have them as well
travelntreats Posted June 29, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 29, 2009 What ship are you sailing on..... Fantasy Class ships do not have blow dryers (I may be mistaken on the Fantasy ships that have recently comeback from renovations).
Miss Dot Posted June 29, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted June 29, 2009 Thanks so much. Should have done better research...lol We are sailing on the Freedom (7/4) Triumph (10/26).
AutumnColors Posted June 29, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 29, 2009 On the Splendor, I found a spring-loaded windowed cover on a wall plug (115V) next to the overhead light in the bathroom too.
momofzeke Posted June 29, 2009 #7 Share Posted June 29, 2009 The hairdryers aren't the greatest, but they're ok. You have to hold the button down in order for it to stay on....when you release the button the dryer turns off. Plus, it's hooked into the drawer of the desk, so you can't pull it out too far ~ makes it a little awkward to use. One trick that I saw here on the boards that sounded good is to take a rubber band and wrap that around the button so that the dryer will stay on without having to hold your thumb on there the whole time. BlueJacketsFan1 Posted June 29, 2009 #8 Share Posted June 29, 2009 Yes, they do have hair dryers. The only thing bad about them is they will not stay on unless you keep your finger on the button. So if you have long or thick hair your finger may not hold out.
