Hotbroker Posted June 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2009 We are going to St. Petersburg Russia in september. I cannot undestand the visa situation. It seems that if you buy a shore excursion you do not need a visa. Does anyone have any assistance about this, please.
136pass Posted June 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2009 If you use an approved tour operator you will not need a seperate visa as the tour operators ticket is the Visa Last year we had private tours with Denrus (Excellent)for 3 days and also went with Silverseas to the Hermitage one evening (Excellent) and all we needed were the tickets + our passport I would go to the ports of call board Europe - Baltics as there is a wealth of knowledge there

At least this was our experience 5 years ago.
