Drury - N.O. do rooms ever open up

I just booked our room online for 1/23/10 with the cruise parking. I called and asked about the cruise parking deal and I was given a promo code to enter (307865) for this deal. My room is $99 + $14 tax and $35 to park for the week. I hope this helps.

I just booked for the end of January and got a great deal (IMO) of $79.99 thru Drury's web site...just click on the specials button and look at the options. I chose the esaver special...hope this helps...

Has anyone been here recently? I was just wondering about the construction going on.... is it still going on? Was it a mess? Also, is the pool heated?

Can someone tell me how far Carnival's terminal is from Drury Hotel? If we leave our car there for the week, will we be able to walk there (luggage & all) or will we need to get a taxi/shuttle?

Cruise terminal to Drury is about 1 mile / 12 blocks +/-.

 

Some will use the vehicle to shuttle all luggage and passengers to dock then drive vehicle back to the Drury for parking, letting the driver walk the mile back or take a cab. Reverse the process for pick up. Cab to Drury, drive to port, pick up luggage and passengers.
