Self-service check-in kiosks: What's your take?

I dont like it. I'm always afraid I'll do something wrong. When flying on Delta they have the self kiosks and I can't stand them! I know I wont like it on cruising.

I avoid all such devices. We don't use automatic tellers at the bank, kiosks at the airport etc. They are all putting people out of work. :eek:

 

 

Even after everyone becomes tech savy they will always have both. You need the live person for the newer cruisers. Automobiles put a lot of buggy makers out of work too. I guess I don't see this aspect of the cruise experience as a service. I see it as someone in the way of me getting on board. Just give me Sail-n-sign card and I'll be on my way. If this makes it faster then I'm for it, if it slows it down I'm against it. The money they save they can divert to better service on board.
