We are arriving in Port Everglades on a saturday morning from a Panama Canal cruise and need to rent a car or van for the trip home to the west coast of Florida. Any rental car agencies located in the terminal close to where Princess docks?

The best selection is at the airport, which is a 5-10 minute cab ride away. I believe there are some located in and around the hotels on 17th st, near the Princess terminal but I have no idea what the selection will be there.

Budget had free shuttle to the airport to pick up car. Many of the car rental companies share the same shuttle service.

There is a small Budget office in the strip that shares a parking lot with the Renaissance on SE 17th, right before the causeway. You call, they come and pick you up in their van and take you to their office, 2 minutes away. We have used them several times and no problem. You can return Budget cars later at the airport.
