Anyone know if Carnival uses msg and ease of getting low salt food?

I have found that msg bothers me, maybe because of the salt, and I try to watch salt anyway due to high blood pressure. I was trying to find out how it works if you request a low salt diet. Thanks!

my mom is allergic to msg. she has horrible stomach problems and headaches when she eats it. she has sailed on carnival a number of times and has had no problems with the food. i would have to assume it is free of msg. as a matter of fact, she says that carnival has some of the best food of all the cruise lines she has been on. i don't know about the low salt diet. hope that helps:)
