question for PB TOM

hi pb tom.... i am planning on coming to PB on 1/20/05(thursday).. i saw on a message board on CC that a lady was bringing you school supplies. well i have been collecting toys from happy meals from local resturants. we were thinking about giving them out to any local kids that we see in cozumel. do u think that would be wise or should we do something else with them? thanks

Well, we have lots of poor families here in Cozumel (some are a whole lot poorer after floods 5 months ago) and they would be delighted if you gave them toys! You might want to grab a cab for an hour or so and head into the neighbourhoods. It'll be plenty safe, no worries, and you'll love the smiles you get in return. Or maybe a school. Hmmm...Sally, Help!! Let's bring Sally in on this. She has many more connections than I do!

Going into the back neighborhoods is a great idea. If you're not comfortable doing that, you can drop off the toys at PB and Tom will see that I get them. A friend of mine and I would love to hand them out to the really needy for you!
