PMO Posted July 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2009 We are interested in doing Europe next year, July 2010. We wanted more than just the cruise so we were considering the cruisetour with RCI on the Navigator of the Seas or the Brillance of the Sea. We like RCI but recently have been disappointed with them. Does anyone have a better suggestion? Is the cruistour worth the expense?
BurBunny Posted July 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2009 Sister lines Celebrity and Azamara also offer cruise tours, and their onboard product offers a higher level of service and quality overall. For some, a cruise tour is a good option, as it takes care of all the logistics and gives you a nice overview of several different cities. But it is expensive - you're paying for that convenience. You can put together a similar itinerary on your own for less, though you'll have to schlep your luggage, arrange the trains, etc. With some time and effort, it's not bad at all, but it depends on your personal style and preferences. PMO Posted July 26, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted July 26, 2009 Thank you, it sure does seem expensive! But having to handle your luggage over and over again will be quite a problem.
