Alaska: Ryndam Sold Out/Zuiderdam Wide Open

I wanted to take the Ryndam from Seward to San Diego, but it is Sold Out for the last Alaska Cruise of the season. HAL checked the Zuiderdam out of Vancouver to Alaska and returns to Los Angeles and it is "wide open"! Need some help on this one?

We've never been on the Ryndam but just returned from the Zuiderdam Inside Passage cruise a few weeks ago. We loved the Zuiderdam. It is a larger ship than the Ryndam.

 

We had originally booked a SY suite but then did an upsell just before the cruise to a SB aft corner suite for $200pp and loved the aft corner and the suite perks.

 

We liked the ship so much that we came home, canceled our Panama Canal transit on the Celebrity Infinity and booked the Zuiderdam from SF to FLL 16 day Panama Canal Transit in September 2010 on the Zuiderdam.
