Enough water currently flowing for cave tubing?

Generally speaking July through September are the peak months of the rainy season in Belize. If any tropical disturbance is in or recently has been in the area, you run the risk of the water being too high.

At the present, some weather sites are predicting that rainfall for Belize in general is going to be about normal for the 2009 rainy season. So you should have water for cave tubing in September.

The dry season, on the other hand runs from November to May with April being the driest month. If there has been little rain in February and march, then in April and May you could find very low water. Also January and February are the colder months and if the water is low and not flowing swiftly, it could be a little chilly.

Best bet for most current state is to email Major Tom and ask.
