kjunea Posted December 31, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2004 My SIL and I went on a cruise and went to a Mexican Folk show in Cozumel. We were in port until 2:00 am and we went to the show after dinner. They gave us 2 drinks -- very strong margaritas -- and then proceeded to do native dances. I don't know what we were expecting, but we got more than just folk dances. I remember one of the dances had the men in loin cloths and deer antlers, which after two very strong margaritas looked funny as all get out! During another segment, one person dressed as an old man with a cane came down into the audience and got my SIL on stage with them. It was a hoot! It was very well done by the National Folk company of Mexico. We enjoyed it tremendously. I don't know if this is the same one as they are advertising now. leeh Posted December 31, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted December 31, 2004 I would imagine this is the same show..sounds like it will be very interesting. Not doing any other ship excursions this time, but thought this one sounded good and by going with the ship's group, you're usually assured of a decent seat and a good show. Thanks for the reply.......Lee
