newfie351 Posted August 6, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2009 Can anyone who has been on the Odyssey (or another Seabourn ship) tell me about the casino. Is it "high roller " or are all levels of play welcome? Are there table minimums? What about slot machines? How many and are they for different amounts (quarters, dollars, ect..)? Host Dan Posted August 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2009 I haven't been on the Odyssey yet, but on the triplets all levels of play are welcome. The minimum at the BlackJack tables is $5, max $100. Host Dan
JaneBP Posted August 6, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2009 Posted by Medroots on the Odyssey thread: >"The casino was larger with updated slots including video poker and some penny interactive ones, though it did appear that there were not enough of the penny machines and too many traditional slots. One big change is they now have an electronic system to use your Seabourn card to charge withdrawals for casino play to your overall bill and electronically maintain any credit balances when you cash out. They had 2 blackjack tables and a roulette table. They seem to have eliminated the "Ocean Poker" game that was played on the triplets and I did hear a few express disappointment about that. The electronic debit/credit system had a few glitches at first but the issues were soon resolved. The staff was great as always and the service in the casino was attentive." travler153 Posted August 8, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Correct. Just left the ship this morning. 2 black jack tables and 1 roulette wheel. Approximately 15 slots/videos, 2 @ $1, many at 25 cents, and several penny slots. All kept my money. Not enough variety to keep me interested.
