P&O Flights question?

We are on p&o flights and was wondering whether we have to pick our luggage up at Sydney airport or does it get taken to the p&o bus for transfer to PD? Thanks in advance.

hi Tania, i think you have to get your luggage yourself from the airport and put it on the bus and the driver unloads the luggage at the dock

When we cruised with P&O flights in December 2007, we had to collect our own luggage from the carousel, and take it to the bus where they load it on.

 

The good thing with the ship's transfer service is that once your luggage is on the bus, you don't have to do anything else. After the driver drops you off, he will drop off your luggage at the luggage check-in area. You don't need to check-in your luggage.

 

What many perhaps don't know as well is that even if you don't purchase the ship's flights, you can approach the ship transfer staff at the airport (they will have a sign saying P&O), and you can usually pay them cash and get on the transfer to the ship.
