Anyone from Britian sailing - plus wheelchair assistance

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Anyone from Britian sailing on RCI AOS 22/29 Nov B2B. Have trawled through many threads and not found anyone yet! Will be flying out of Heathrow on AA (god help us) at 12.15 pm and staying in SJ Caribe Hilton for 1 night. We are a party of 5 and it would be nice to have a few more Brits together.

Also due to the age of one of our group (Mum 89) we have asked for wheelchair assistance all the way, she is just old and can't stand for to long in queues or walk to far. We are in JS on deck 9 do we priority boarding or assistance at the dock on embarkation. Also can we on shore days use the nearest exit off the ship even if it is for disabled just to cut the walking length out for her. Our last cruise on P&O Arcadia we had major problems with this as they insisted that she was not disabled so could use the main walkway onto the ship which sometime involved walking the length of the ship on the quay side. Eventually we did sort it out but it was very upsetting and quite distressful for her.
