Mountain Bikes for rent?

I've seen a couple references to bike rentals, but most are from a couple years ago (pre-hurricane). I'm looking to ride south (or north) and find some nice quiet spot to beach comb and maybe snorkel. How is the road, been repaired? Recent input appreciated.

ccNVcpl, I've been scouring for info too. And I came across this site with maps and some message boards that looks somewhat up to date (post Dennis). There appears to be a bike repair shop one block off the malecon in Majahual, so I'm sure someone has bikes for rent.

I'm there in 3 weeks so I'll make a note to check out. Might not be mountain bikes but would a beach cruiser ( single gear) work?

Beach cruiser bike works too! Maybe even better if land is flat. Wonder if you can ride on beach. Guess we'll see. We're there in 6 weeks, so will look forward to you observations.
