Photos of Roatan Snorkeling along 25 foot wall, shore snorkeling the trail, shore fishing, tour of botanical gardens...boa constrictor, Tex meeting you at the dock, just an outstanding day. My kids said it was their favorite by far.

Sheheke, welcome back:)....im thinking about snorkeling the same area when we go to Sandy bay....however we arent booking a tour through Bay Islands resort, but instead just taking a taxi to sandy bay and walking the beach to some nice snorkeling area.....the beaches are all supposed to be public beaches....how exactly did you enter the snorkeling area that you snorkeled and how is the snorkel trail marked and what would keep anyone from snorkeling the trail once they are out in the water snorkeling on their own?....thanks for any help and suggestions:)

I don't think it's possible to walk onto their beach and onto trail. They actually had a police officer chase off some local kids who had wandered onto their beach. The exclusionary policies ensure the quiet perfection we had.
