Feb Weather

I want to do beach stuff. Can I do that in feb? What is the outside temp like and what is the water temp like? I'm from Texas. Even though the outside temp maybe a little lower, would the water have cooled that much? I want to do Dolphin Disocovery and Paradise Beach.

I was here last February for Carnaval and went swimming. Right now the pool is too cold for me (we have had some Nortes blow through recently) but the ocean temperature is fine for dolphins and Paradise Beach !! I actually found it to be a bit warmer in February than it is right now.

A few years ago we did the W. Carib. in February. I'll never forget that we were swimming/floating around in the water in Cozumel on February 22. That very same day there was a nasty ice storm and a tremendous pile-up between DC and Richmond. I tried not to sound too smug about it, though! :)
