:) We are going on her next to last cruise in October this year. I have a couple of questions for you if you don't mind.

1. I know you can bring a bottle of wine onboard and pay the corkage fee. Can you bring the larger size wine bottles and what about bringing a box of wine? How many can each passenger bring on.

2. They state you can have two pcs. of luggage per person. Does that include a carry on such as a handbag etc..?

3. In my passport from two years ago I have brown hair and now I have bright blond hair, will I have any problems do you you think?

4. While in port in Bermuda, do the evening entertainment shows still go on onboard the ship? I know the Casino and shops are closed while in port, but someone said the shows do not go on either, it this true?

5. How did you find the food?

6. I know no irons are allowed, but what about flat irons for hair?

Any suggestions and any answers would be helpful.

Thanks,

Songstress

2. They state you can have two pcs. of luggage per person. Does that include a carry on such as a handbag etc..? No, it does not include a handbag. But honestly, I think you can take as much luggage as you want (within reason). Our bags were never counted or weighed.

3. In my passport from two years ago I have brown hair and now I have bright blond hair, will I have any problems do you you think? You'll be fine.

4. While in port in Bermuda, do the evening entertainment shows still go on onboard the ship? I know the Casino and shops are closed while in port, but someone said the shows do not go on either, it this true? The shows DO go on!

5. How did you find the food? For the most part it was pretty good. Le Bistro was excellent. The two dining rooms had some good selections too. The buffets were usually okay, but the lines for omelettes, waffles, pasta, etc. were long.

6. I know no irons are allowed, but what about flat irons for hair? Yes, the are allowed. I used mine.

Any suggestions and any answers would be helpful.

Thanks,

Songstress

We're just back from the Majesty and had a great time. I know she is an older ship, but we still enjoyed our cruise to Bermuda despite having to leave early due to Hurricane Bill. Any questions, just ask.

Hi and welcome back!! We were on Majesty August 9 and had a nice time. When researching this cruise I was looking at August 9 or 16, but choose the 9th due to family obligations on the 22nd. Didn't know about the family get together when I started my reseach. Anyway we were wondering how you made out due to hurricane Bill? How did NCL notifiy all the guests they were departing earlier, did you arrive back in Baltimore earlier than scheduled, was the seas rough since "Bill" was approaching between Bermuda and the east coast?

Sorry for all the questions, my in laws joined us on this cruise and we were wondering since we could have been on there August 16th. Thanks for your reply.

Thank you for answering my questions, your answers were helpful, so I'll ask you some more. My husband wants to bring his golf clubs but was told because of Majesty's small size that he could not keep them in our room, which is okay with him. My question however is, can they be transported via bus to the golf club. Since there are no rental cars, aside from cabs, that leaves the bus. Do you know if they are allowed on? Also are golf clubs considered one of the two luggage pcs. they allow or do you think they will let it slide since they will not be kept in our room?

One last question is does the ship provide an iron if needed in a central laundry area or does all ironing have to be done by NCL Staff? If so, what is the charge for ironing?

Thanks for your help,

Songstress

We're not golfers, so I'm not entirely sure about any of the golf bag policies. The only thing I know, is that when we were disembarking when we arrived back in Baltimore, I did notice a group of guys all carrying their clubs from their rooms down to the gangway.

As far as the iron goes, I didn't try to get one, but I've read other posts from members here saying that you just have to call and request one, and someone will bring it to your room.

So sorry I didn't respond sooner, my computer crashed.

The captain made several announcements as he received information about the hurricane. They really were not sure which track it was going to take. As soon as they made the decision to leave early they announced the time for final boarding. We didn't have any really rough seas, just swells. The captain took us above the hurricane and hugged the coast on the way back. We had an extra sea day, but the weather was sunny so it was not as bad as it could of been. Of course we were disappointed to leave Bermuda early, but I'm sure we will be going back as soon as we can.:D
