W. carib. 10/18, which ruins are a must see......

Altun Ha or Talum? First cruise to Carib. so not sure which one we should see. Any suggestions greatly appreciated,

I've never been to Altun Ha, but I really enjoyed Tulum--it overlooks the beautiful blue Caribbean. Many excellent photo opportunities. If your cruise is going to Cozumel, I would recommend doing Tulum only on an excursion booked through Carnival. Tulum is on mainland Mexico--you have to take a ferry to get there from Cozumel. Even if your cruise is going to Calica/Playa del Carmen--this is one I'd book through Carnival. Don't chance missing the ship.
