Regent Seven Seas Cancels Mediterranean Cruise Due to Pod Malfunction

As many on CruiseCritic already know, the passengers on the non-cruise were accommodated on the Voyager for the first couple of days and then either put in hotels or were flown home. In typical Regent fashion, all of the passengers have received refunds and offers for future cruises. The Voyager will be sailing again out of Athens on October 27th.

This week, due to changes in itineraries in 2012, Regent cancelled it's 11/28/2011 transatlantic sasiling. Refunds on that cruise were going out within 48 hours of the announcement. Many (including myself) changed our reservation to the Mariner sailing. Again, Regent is communicating well with it's passengers (through our TA's) and, for the most part, we are satisfied with the solution they are offering.
