Excursions or guides for bird watching?

We're taking the 10-night Society Islands and Tuamotus sailing on August 28th and are interested in birds and bird watching. Are there any lectures, excursions or location recommendations for new-to-PG/FP cruisers with this interest? Thanks in advance for your help!

There is an excursion to Tetiaroa that includes a visit to a bird watching reserve.

This is from Tahii island so you will have to do it pre or post cruise.

Above is the contact we are using for next year. I have booked the whole Cat but they do have excursions on select dates where you can book per person.

We have never been but this operation is well recommended on trip Advisor.
