Did you happen to notice if the pharmacy was still in business at the Progreso pier? It was on the left hand side after you walked through the first store and back into the open area-one of the first things you walked by. Pharmacy and sold soft drinks, snacks, souvenirs, etc.

I really enjoyed your video! We will be in Progress next week. We have been before but took the Carnival excursion to Chichen Itza and did not actually see much of Progreso. This time we just want to stay and explore Progreso. I've been reading so many bad reviews of Progreso that I didn't know what to expect. Your video showed that you can have a great time in Progreso exploring and relaxing at the beach. Really looking forward to it now!

Wonderful video.....Do you or anyone else know if you can go to Merida and walk around for a while and still come back and have time to do some of the sights in Progresso....Looking to relax, and not be stressed trying to do both...Thanks in advance for any info

If you got off the ship first thing in the morning and then got a cab straight in to Merida, you could certainly spend a few hours there and then head back and have sometime in Progreso. You could probably also do it by city bus but your times in each would be less. It does sound a little hectic however. You might want to just concentrate on one area, then come back again for the other. Merida is a big city, even the central park area is big enough to spend a day at and not see it all.
