Suggestions for best NY Cruise

I'm considering a 7, 9 or 11 day out of NY or NJ in August 08 or April of 09. We would like Caribbean, Bahamas or Bermuda as I need the sun, palm tree and fru fru drink. Any suggestions??????????? I'm starting the research.

I'd do a longer one. Right off the bat you are going to lose about almost 2 days in sea days if you are going to the Caribbean. So there's 4 days right off the bat.

Go for the 11 day one. You don't get many islands with a 7 day cruise, just maybe 2-3 islands & only a few hours. Not worth it.

We really prefer Bermuda over the caribbean. We find it to be a really nice and safe island. I would highly recommend it.
