I was there last month. You definitely need water shoes. Full of pebbles, rocks and sharp pieces of shells. This starts about 2 feet before walking into water.

It was a ladder. The pool is small and steps into it would take up a third of it!

I did this twice the past year and a half. -once onto a bus with others and brought to the other terminal -another time I had to go to the airport and then dropped off at the other port terminal

I have never seen it.
