  1. What does people's food at home have to do with RC's food going downhill?
  2. I'm fairly certain that all cruisers that were supposed to stop at Labadee got another sea day or were sent to another island. Really not sure what you are asking.
  3. While that is no doubt good advice when possible, it's not always possible or desirable. Sometimes the other parts of the vacation are other cruises, with perhaps only one or two nights between them, which makes it a challenge to wash and dry clothes. It's much easier to do so during a cruise because there are typically more consecutive nights on a cruise, and because it's a lot easier to put a load of clothes in the machine, grab something to eat or drink, come back to the machine, etc. As far as using Airbnb's, I'm also somewhat hesitant to use those in other countries. I prefer to use hotels. Note that I'm not trying to say that everyone should wash clothes during a cruise. Of course not. I'm just trying to explain to those that say basically, "don't wash clothes, you're on vacation" that there are a lot of factors to consider.
  4. Because sometimes the cruise is but a small part of a much longer vacation where it is impractical to carry enough clean clothes for the whole time.
  5. Gotcha. For me, it's neither of those things. It's that I take long trips, often to hot places where it would be nice (and convenient) to be able to wash clothes on a cruise ship, preferably not by hand.
  6. How does a luggage tracking device help with doing laundry?
  7. Sometimes the cruise is just a small part of a much longer trip so bringing an extra piece of luggage doesn't solve the problem.
  8. It's a shame we have to pay extra for decent ice cream.
  9. RC has some of the most tasteless ice cream I've ever eaten.
  10. I wonder why that's not an issue on other cruise lines that do have self-service laundry.
  11. LOL "safety concerns". Apparently Princess and Carnival and Disney and I'm sure others don't have those same "safety concerns". I'm guessing they meant "profit concerns".
  12. Would you be checking luggage at the airport? Do you have TSA precheck? What day of the week would this be? What time is the ship scheduled to dock?
  13. That is so true! Many of them look amazing, but they just have little or no flavor. If only they would put as much effort into how they taste as they do in how they look!
  14. No I wasn't onboard. I was referring to others that were, that expressed their displeasure in this thread.
