  1. I just found my answer, it’s now age 12. I’m guessing that has changed as the little boy in the video was maybe 5. The admins can close this post. I tried to delete to no avail. Thank you.
  2. Sailing on the Horizon in the fall with friends. They asked if we would be interested in the Chefs Table. I am sitting here watching a YouTube video of the Chefs Table on the Horizon and there are young kids. Is this normal? Is there no age limit on this event? Thanks for any input. (FYI; it’s not a matter of not liking children but this is a 2 1/2 hr dinner, no child should be expected to sit through that. I have raised 3 boys, I know).
  3. I ended up having to call. I entered mine like 5 times but the balance never changed. I’m not sure what the deal is with these gift cards. I was just happy the CC rep could enter it for me. Best of luck!
  4. I just hung up with a very nice gentleman from Carnival. He entered my GC number/PIN and it went right through. He stated that sometimes, they can be stubborn. I guess I was lucky and got one of those. Thanks again all for your help yesterday. Happy Friday!
  5. Ok, I’ve put the card and the pin in about 5 more times. I hit apply, it says it’s been applied. I go out, back tot the main page, the amount has not been applied. I guess I will have to call them tomorrow. I’ve tried 3 different browsers, turned off my VPN, cleared my cache, and nothing makes a difference. Thanks for the tips everyone.
  6. I apologize, I know know if this answer is within this thread but I did try a search first. I added a AARP gift card in about noon today. My balance has not changed. It took the card number/pin, screen said it was applied. I went back into my account, the balance is the same prior to me adding the gift card? Is this normal? Thanks for any insight.
  7. Earlier today; The U.S. military flew in Marines to reinforce its embassy in Haiti and evacuate non-essential personnel as heavily-armed gangs continue to challenge the country’s tenuous government and turn the country’s capital, Port-au-Prince, into a battlefield. it doesn’t sound like it’s going well there. With 4,000 prison inmates loose, they will have a hard time controlling this situation.
  8. I can’t answer the OPs question since this is our first Celebrity cruise coming up. We have however booked several cruises with RC after final payment. We got great cabins and we saved a lot of money. This was pre covid and popular cruise times. We will book this way again in the future. Best of luck to the OP with their situation,
  9. My hubby (Marine vet) and I will be sailing on the Apex next month. I know on RC they have a gathering of vets in a lounge about halfway through their 7 day cruises. We have met some awesome veterans and families like this. I didn’t know if Celebrity offered anything like this. I did search but didn’t locate anything. Thank you. Semper Fi…
  10. We have had Surf Shark for about 4 years. We have never had any issues onboard a ship and were able to log in from different countries to watch shows late at night.
  11. We haven't sailed on Celebrity yet. Both of us are excited. Our last cruise on the Allure was a 6 out of 10 and that had been one of our favorite ships. Remaining positive that the Apex is better in Match ☺️
  12. Thanks everyone, I so appreciate all the great responses! You guys/gals are the best! 🙂
  13. We will be sailing on the Apex in March. There in one island we have been too numerous times and we do not plan to get off the ship. Does the spa ever offer any specials while in port? Does anyone have any price lists if they do? Also, do you have to book these the morning of, or do you do it a few days before the port? I've searched and can't find anything on this topic. Thanks to all for any input, E
  14. We have decided that all of the 22 cruises we have taken stocked the John Wayne toilet paper. Rough and tough and doesn't take #@!$ off of anyone. It's see through, thin, etc. There is really no difference in using 3-4 times the normal amount of the JW toilet paper versus the normal amount with normal toilet paper. Either way there could be a backup. JMHO.. (funny topic but we agree) 😆
  15. In any cruise ship spa we have ever utilized, we always write clearly on their form; no real health issues, and we are NOT interested in any products, just our massage (or whatever we have booked). We learned on the first time we used a ship spa back in 2003, they will hound you hard core for products. Since writing this on the form, we have never had any issues and some great massages. ☺️.
