Danish_couple Posted January 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2013 We did our first cruise this year with Celebrity Summit (Aqua Class) and are looking for the next one. It seems difficult for us to find the right destination on the right time with a Celebrity ship, that provides Aqua Class. What we loved about Aqua Class was the dining in Blue, the butler and the cabin situated at the top of the ship. Are there any alternative cruiselines, where we can find similar offers (special dining for free, butler and cabin at the top - without being a suite)? Rare LHT28 Posted January 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2013 You could look at Oceania cruises ..they are not a luxury line but close ;) the PH cabins are near the top of the ship on the 2 larger ships on the top passenger deck on the 2 smaller ships
dabear Posted January 24, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2013 In addition to Oceania, Azamara has specialty restaurants at no additional charge. Both are premium, near ,but not luxury class and have excellent "restaurant quality" food. Celebrity, which we've also cruised, is the top rated "mass market" cruise line for food. IMHO, except for their specialty restaurants, the main dining room food is very good "banquet quality" food, better than other mass market lines, but no where as good as the near luxury or luxury lines, which as you would expect, are more expensive. PS On our last Celebrity cruise we ate every night in Blu and enjoyed it very much.
