We are in 04(OS) and detest the smell of cigarettes..Any opinions? Why don't they adopt the Regent's or Oceana's policy on smoking? Boatie

Boatie You might want to post this on the Seabourn Board. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=130 When it comes to the topic of smoking it can get very emotional so if you want to get at more of the fact rather than having a lot of people chime in about their views of smoking if this was me I would just ask that if I am in x room or x category will I smell smoke from my room? Travelcat2 Posted May 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 26, 2012 It seems that Seabourn and Silversea are catering to the European market that supposedly has more smokers. During our recent visits to Europe, we have found the smoking policies quite similar to the policies in the U.S. Guess it will take some time for these cruiselines to catch up. Boatie Hi Just saw your post and I too detest the smell of cigarettes and I am sailing on the Norwegian Epic and I am concerned about their (NCL) policy allowing smoking in the casino which is an open area mid ship. I have the option to cancel but loose equivalent of $1,000 deposit which I will do rather than be unhappy for thirteen nights. I sincerely hope it works out well for you.
