Stevedalton Posted September 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2017 Hi all Only been on a few cruises in my life - Durban to Athens in 1982, Med cruise on Oceana 2006, Greek isles from Venice in 2010 and the Caribbean on Azura in 2011. Now we could be ready for another! We were thinking of one of the cruises on Oceana departing from Malta but is there a way of just booking the cruise and organising our own flights as we'd like to have a mini break in Malta either before or after the cruise. Thanks.
Dorset cruise fan Posted September 11, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2017 We have booked our own flights for the October re-positioning cruise. Did online booking and there was an option to remove flights. We are using our local airport which is much more convenient.
cornflake girl Posted September 12, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2017 We've booked flights from local airport to Malta to spend time there before the cruise. Saved £400 on fly cruise price (2 adults, 1 child). Sent from my iPhone using Forums
annieuk Posted September 12, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2017 You need to speak to whoever you intend booking with - either your Cruise Agent or P&O if you are booking with them direct.
Stevedalton Posted May 4, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted May 4, 2018 Thanks all. Finally got round to booking the cruise and went with the inclusive flights as the times suited us. Now I have another question regarding flights so I’ll ask that in a separate question.

Congratulations - a lovely ship :-) We have always found that the fly cruises are very well organised by P&O - enjoy!
