Bahia Mar Ft. Lauderdale Beach??

Anyone stay at the Bahia Mar Ft. Lauderdale Beach lately?

Location looks great and the remodel looks great, lets hear it guys!

I love the Bahia Mar. It's super close to the water taxi and the beach. The best part is it's only about 5 mins from the port!:D

It is now a Doubletree by Hilton.

We stayed there last September for 3 days before we cruised and absolutely loved it!! Right across from the beach & beach broadwalk with lots of bars/restaurants, some shops. A block from the water taxi (take that and go to Las Olas). Good restaurant, nice deli/quick shop on property, nice rooms, nice staff. Bahia Mar rocks! ;)

Some pics for you. Hotel and beach area

We have stayed here 2 times-no problem at all. In the sunset pic(from the pool deck of the hotel) you can see the flyover(right bottom) that they have over to the beach from the pool area. Private and no traffic worries.

Thanks for posting the pictures! I'm sure it will be a fine place to stay. I've booked it post cruise as well. Unless I score a deal on hotwire...
