Ikaikaaz01 Posted July 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2012 Just trying to get some info on LIQ packages. Has anyone gotten the Wine package. Is it one glass with dinner one bottle? Also what do you get in the in room setup? The web page is not to clear. Thanks
Tiggertastic Posted July 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2012 Depends on the package The wine packages work on a number of bottles - so if you donlt finish the bottle, they mark it and fetch it for you when you ask for it. The classic and premium packages work on a glass within a set price and if the waiter knows that is all you are going to drink then he keeps the bottle handy anyway. Rare cruisestitch Posted July 22, 2012 #3 Share Posted July 22, 2012 Welcome to Cruise Critic -- The in-room liquor package is one bottle of liquor, six cans of soda or soft drink, and some salty snacks. The Wine packages are for multiple bottle purchases -- three, five or seven bottles. The Alcohol packages are for unlimited drinks at two different price points. Each also includes a range of non-alcoholic drinks. The packages are for one person only, may not be shared, with the exception of the In-room liquor bottle which may be shared. The packages cannot be purchased by the day. You can buy them on day 1 of your cruise, or day 2, 3, 4 etc. until some cutoff date (usually the last two days of the cruise). From the point of purchase, they will be in force for every day afterwards. Hope this helps.
deltagem Posted July 22, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 22, 2012 Great! What were your general thoughts about the cruise? Did you any tours? Is, thru the cruise line or indeendently. Which deck/cabin were you in? I want to know everything.
pinma Posted July 22, 2012 #5 Share Posted July 22, 2012 I believe the wine (multiple bottle) packages can be shared. We certainly shared ours on the Millennium in 2009.
Rare cruisestitch Posted July 22, 2012 #6 Share Posted July 22, 2012 Pinma, yes you are correct -- I had forgotten about those being shareable. Deltagem -- spend some time on the Reviews section of Cruise Critic -- so many of your questions will be answered there. Also, this board is searchable, so if you want to know, say, what is the difference between Aqua Class and Concierge Class, type those words into the search box and lots of replies will pop up for you
