Project playground Juneau

If you have a rental car and kids, add the playground to your list of must do's. It was the perfect place to let my 6 and 8 year olds run off some steam!!

Thanks for the pics! We are planning to go there as well with a 4 and 8 year old. I am debating a rental car vs. bus to get there. May I ask what else you did with the rental car while in Juneau?

I am pretty sure the bus will drop you off over by the hospital. From the bus stop at the base of the hill at Hospital Drive, it is only about a 2 or 3 minute walk to the playground. Just around the corner on the Glacier Highway.

We rented from avis. We went to Mendenhall glacier, and drove around the island too. The bus was pretty infrequent once an hour just wasn't enough for us. The rental car was WAY less than the shuttle to Mendenhall.
