Self Disembarking - Timing - Allure of the Seas

I have not been on a cruise ship for awhile and wonder if the ship delays those passengers that have no shore excursions booked through them. A few years ago, when we were docking in St. Petersburg, the ship announced that passengers who had booked tours with the ship would exit first and that was according to Russian immigration. We had private tour arranged, got our group together, and were the first off. Russian immigration did not care. I plan to do either DIY or private tours - are there any problems disembarking quickly?

The cruise line doesn't necessarily tell you what actually happens. I wanted to know what is actual experience.

Asking on the RCI board (not on the RCI website), would get you the experience of MANY people on Cruise Critic, as that is the board that is focused on RCI, Allure, Oasis, etc.

The RCI board is here:

http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=83

If you look there you will quickly see you are on Cruise Critic, and not talking to RCI employees, but people like yourself who are RCI cruisers.
